CV. Limas Sumber Abadi
Jar test is a laboratory-scale experiment to determine the optimum operating conditions in the process of treating water and waste water. The jar test method can determine the pH value, variation in adding doses of coagulant or polymer, on a laboratory scale to predict actual water treatment needs. The jar test method simulates the process of coagulation and flocculation to remove suspended solids and organic substances that can cause turbidity, odor and taste problems. Jar test simulates several types of stirring and precipitation that occur in the clarification plant on a laboratory scale. Jar test has a rotary speed variable stirrer that can control the energy needed for the process.
Product Details :
Jar tests are carried out using a device called a floculator. A floculator is a device used for flocculation. The floculator is basically used to do slow stirring so that the micro floc does not clot. Jar test provides data on optimum conditions for various process parameters such as: a. Coagulant dose b. pH c. Methods of applying chemicals d. Concentration of chemical solutions e. The time and intensity of mixing are fast and stirring is slow f. Purification time
